INVITATION TO BID

1.) Description of the organizations and its activities Feminature Uganda is an indigenous women-led and youth focused, not-for-profit, non-partisan organization that spearheads the socio-economic, political transformation of women and youth through initiatives that provide a platform of self-help for participatory advancement of households with women and youth making informed decisions geared towards their own transformation to drive gender equality and alleviate poverty.  With funding from aBi Development, Feminature is implementing the RECCAV project which aims to reduce the vulnerability of smallholder farmers to climate change through the adoption of climate adaptation and mitigation interventions, hence contributing to food security and increased incomes for smallholder farmers in Madi-Okollo district.   2.) Objective of this Call In accordance with the overall targets of the above-mentioned operations Feminature Uganda plans to support and supply small holder farmers with irrigation kits and establish modern nursery site demos in Madi-Okollo district.   3.) Feminature invites sealed bids from qualified companies for the services below. Details of Works/services include.

Any request for clarification must be received by Feminature Uganda in writing at least 5 working days before the deadline for submission of tenders. Feminature Uganda will reply to bidders’ questions at least 2 working days before the deadline for submission of tenders. Costs incurred by the bidder in preparing and submitting the tender proposals will not be reimbursed.   4.) Offer Presentation

• Request for the bid document via email with the subject as: REQUEST FOR BIDDING DOCUMENTS Ref: FU/BIDS/2023/001 for Lot 1 or FU/BIDS/2023/002 for Lot 2 to procurement@feminature.org.
• Without quoting the reference number in the subject line of your email request for the bidding document(s); Feminature reserves the right not to send you the bidding document(s).
• The offers shall be hand delivered, in a sealed envelope(s) to: Procurement Department Feminature Uganda – Arua Plot 64-66 Arua Avenue Road. P. O. Box 999, Arua named ‘RECCAV BID AUGUST 2023: LOT REFERENCE NUMBER e.g. ‘RECCAV BID AUGUST 2023: FU/BIDS/2023/002’
• The deadline for the submission of the offer is Thursday 17^th August, 2023, at 5:00 PM EAT.
• The detailed bid notice is available at the Feminature website feminature.org.
• All inquiries must be obtained ONLY by formal email to the Procurement Department at procurement@feminature.org.
