know us More

Feminature Uganda is an Indigenous Eco-feminist Women-led Non-Governmental Organisation with its headquarters in Arua with a mandate to improve the living conditions of women and youth by supporting activities and programs that foster their social and economic well-being for the elimination of poverty among the communities we work with. Feminature is keen on accomplishing this through direct engagement with the local grassroot communities  and indirectly through comprehensive engagements and advocacy with local policy and decision-makers. Our work pivots around the themes of climate change and environmental action, promoting civic engagement, advocacy & human rights, sexual reproductive health, and entrepreneurship, livelihood and innovation developments.

our core values

feminature thrives on these six core values

01.

We are accountable to the people and partners we work with, upholding principles of transparency. We pride ourselves in doing the right thing always.

02.

We believe in the equal treatment and respect of everyone; beneficiaries, donors and staff.

03.

We seek and commit to understand how we can best support each other and make choices that align our partners goals with our own.

04.

We continuously aspire to enhance performance through improvements in efficiency, productivity, quality, strategic positioning and outcomes of our interventions

05.

We acknowledge and embrace our individual differences and divergent voices and opinions as our unifiers

06.

We are our communities and we cherish every effort we give back to our community without expecting anything in return.
