Feminature Uganda is pleased to announce the second call for applications for our prestigious Camp Kennedy Civic Education Project for student leaders in Uganda.
Camp Kennedy is a project of Feminature Uganda in partnership with the US Embassy Kampala that seeks to promote public service, non-violence, and active citizenry while training Uganda’s young people with skills to counter violent extremism. The project draws its inspiration from the legacy of President John F. Kennedy the former president of the United States and his call to public service.
This project is meant for student leaders aged 16 to 18 years actively enrolled in one of our partners’ schools across the four administrative regions that are; Northern, Eastern, Western and Central Uganda.
This year the Camp Kennedy Project will take place in Mbarara, Gulu, Kamili and Tororo. A few selected schools from our previous year of the project will also be involved in this year’s project.
