What people say

Stories of change and impact.

Community members, partners and programme participants share what it has meant to walk alongside Feminature Uganda — from digital safety trainings to livelihood skills and SRHR symposiums.

“

The digital safety training opened my eyes to dangers I never knew existed online. I now teach other girls in my school how to stay safe and report harassment. Feminature truly cares about our wellbeing.

“

Working with Feminature on the SRHR symposium gave us a strong regional platform. Their team understands local realities and partners with communities instead of talking down to them.

“

As a refugee, I often felt invisible. Through the livelihood skills programme, I learned tailoring and now run a small business that supports my three children. I have hope again.

“

The climate justice initiative introduced us to eco-feminism in a way that honoured our indigenous knowledge. Our community is now planting trees and saving energy, led by our own women.

“

Feminature's youth leadership camp shaped my path. I learned about civic responsibility, governance, and how to engage local leaders respectfully and effectively. I am now a community mobiliser.

“

As a partner organisation, we have seen firsthand how Feminature invests in local leadership. Their approach is thoughtful, inclusive and rooted in genuine community ownership. A privilege to work alongside them.
