How we serve humanity at Feminature

Our governance, democracy and human rights department is aimed at a Uganda where citizens are empowered to engage in democratic governance of the country and one where the rights of citizens are upheld and where they are empowered to fulfil their responsibilities to Uganda. It looks to supporting our communities, particularly women and youth to have voice and be proactive leaders in our community.

We innovative and evidence informed interventions tailored to address the SRHR needs and rights of adolescents, young people and key populations using participatory and human rights-based approaches.

We strengthen existing economic empowerment initiatives and innovate new and effect ones to contribute to and promote the implementation of programs that economically empower women, youth and girls in Uganda through the requisite employable skills of the current century. Our work in this area is to prepare young people and women for the market place with 21st century employable skills.

Together with our communities, we develop functional natural systems to protect, conserve and reclaim our environment in approaches to restore our natural eco system. Climate action and climate justice are the heartbeat of our interventions.

Under this thematic area, we venture into initiating and conducting both qualitative an quantitative depending on the gaps identified so as to influence the formulation and implementation of policies and legislation that promote gender equality and human rights, and advocate for reforms or design tailored response projects for our communities.
