Media Statement on 17 December Office Break-in

We regret to inform our partners, donors, and stakeholders of a break-in at our office on 17th December 2023. The incident occurred between 1:00pm and 3:00pm EAT, resulting in the theft of three laptops, petty cash, and tampering with office property.   The police from Arua Central Police Station have been engaged, and preliminary investigations are underway. Our team is fully cooperating with the authorities, and our office premises have been secured for further investigations.   While the full extent and impact of the incident are yet to be determined, we remain committed to our work and appreciate the support from our partners and friends during this challenging time. We urge the Uganda Police to thoroughly investigate this matter and bring the perpetrators to justice.   Executive Director Feminature Uganda.
